Tuesday 5 November Air force Museum

Hello everyone!
I have had a wonderful experience today at the Air-force museum there were lots of fun activities like a scavenger hunt, behind the scenes that included jumping out of a plane onto what was meant to be an ocean but was a mat like the one we use for high jump. The last thing we did was learning about the person that got the Victoria Cross award, he was called James Ward and he put a fire out in the middle of the night during a storm when the plane was flying. The thing that I liked seeing most was the plane that the queen flew in, it had a velvet path into it and I could see that it had little curtains to block the light out. Another thing that I liked was looking at the old and new workshops and the storage place that they keep the planes that they can't fit into the museum. In the storage space, there was a plane which you could see the cockpit and it had a couple of the old seats, the plane was also on a very big lean just like one were we could jump out. The other interactive plane was something like a helicopter and it had about 9 seats, not including the two seats in the cockpit The seats were old and creaky when you sat down in the seats. The Air force museum was very fun and interesting and I am very happy that we went there.

Bye everyone!
